Details Around The Office

While at a meeting with Christian representing Lakawana County, Michael asks Pam to supply him with jokes from a joke book in his desk. While in Michael's office Pam discovers a draft of Threat Level Midnight in a desk drawer. She delivers it to Jim who begins tabbing through the script while Pam looks on. The script is identical on every page except for the final page containing Michael's illustrations.

Jim told us Michael always sings the high-pitched harmony to Happy Birthday. In S1:E4 Michael can be overheard singing along normally without the harmony.

Upset about some of the gang's forged medical information, Dwight confronts the office. Jim replies with "O.K. whoa, alright? Because that's a pretty intense accusation." Jim's dialogue [12:50] is cut prematurely while we watch Ryan, Creed, and an unknown D.M. employee listening to him.

While delaying choosing a new healthcare plan for the office Michael wants to "give the troops around here a little bit of a boost". and tells the gang he has a "big surprise" waiting for them at the end of the day. Having nothing planned, he embarks on a search for a surprise activity. After striking out at the travel agency Michael returns to his car where he makes a phone call to Lakawana Coal Mine, a location he is considering taking the gang. The man on the other end of the line is voiced by Creed (Creed Bratton).
